What started as a temporary move to Alaska turned into something much more meaningful for Cynthia Barraza Guerra, PMHNP.

What was supposed to be a 6 month adventure somehow became nearly 3 years, and along the way, Fairbanks became home.

The northern lights. Endless summer evenings. A close-knit community. The peace and quiet you didn’t realize you needed until you finally have it.

Not every path to feeling better looks the same, and sometimes it takes a different approach to get there.

If progress has stalled or something just isn’t working, it may be time to explore other options. At Freedom Behavioral Health Solutions, we offer treatments like TMS and Spravato in addition to medication management and therapy, because care should adapt to the individual, not the other way around.

Due to expected severe weather in the Manhattan, Kansas area, our Manhattan office will be closing early today at 3:00 PM to help keep our team and community safe.

Depression treatment isn’t one-size-fits-all. If medication hasn’t been enough, there are additional FDA-approved options that may help, including TMS and Spravato.

At Freedom Behavioral Health, we work alongside providers to support patients who need a higher level of outpatient care and new pathways forward.
