Walking into Sana Musasama’s show at the Eric Firestone Gallery felt like I was entering a gorgeous, joyful, welcoming village of colorful, multi-textured ceramic totems, houses, towers and spirits!! What an amazing world to be in!! You must experience this for yourself!!❤️

I’m so happy that Sanaa Musasama’s new exhibit is opening at the Eric Firestone Gallery in NYC this evening! I can’t wait to see whst she had created!
I have had the pleasure of living with several of her awesome creations in my home for many years! They bring me so much joy! Kudos to Sanaa for her decades of artistic excellence and her compassionate commitment to helping others! 🙌❤️🥰

Just saw Real Women Have Curves — a Broadway Musical that is so relevant to our political times! It’s a powerful tale about the challenges faced by immigrants to this country, female empowerment, being able to achieve one’s dreams against the odds, and despite cultural and family constraints! The lyrics were so meaningful and the voices were amazing!! 🎶🎶 It’s a must-see! 👍

You may have heard the news that Congressman Rangel passed today! 🙏🏿 My husband, Earl lost his lifelong friend from childhood, former Congressman Charles Rangel this week. He has been getting calls and texts and watching commemorative ceremonies news coverage of his old friend!❤️I’m loving hanging out with him and letting him talk about fond memories! They also had a Harlem men’s club called The Les Garçons since their late teens and gave dances! 🥰 They were a handsome group of young Harlem strivers who remained friends for life. ❤️This is Earl Davis’s short tribute to his friend, Charlie!❤️
