I had this woman reach out to me a couple months ago who knew me when I was a personal trainer, she was one of my first clients in the Springs, and asked if I was still training/writing programs for clients, and I told her I’m a lot different than who she knew me as. I told her about Soul Charge and what I do, and little bit about it.
She asked if I’d be willing to work with her again, as a trainer, because she’s tried a number of meal plans and programs and hasn’t seen any progress (she’s specifically looking to get her body fat % to a healthy level).
I really didn’t want to do it, lol, I recommended a few people I knew would be a good trainer for her and she just wasn’t interested because she keeps trying with no progress.
So I asked her, how the extra body fat was serving her… subconsciously, how was it keeping her ‘safe’?
And she just texted me back, “oh.”
I told her that what I’d be willing to do, if she was open to it-because it’s not at all what she came to me asking for, I told her I’d be willing to do 2 Soul Charge sessions a month plus a training program 5 days a week.
That felt fun for both of us!
We could get into all the reasons she was storing the extra body fat, she’d have the workout she was looking for, and we both got the relationship back that we had a couple years ago!
Three months in she’s down 6% body fat, eating more, actively leveling out her hormones, and she’s healed a TON of pain & fear she was holding on to 🤍
She told me in our last session, the biggest testament to the work we’ve been doing is that her family just went through something that would have previously sent her into another depressive episode, but this time, she understood that that path just wasn’t hers and she found one better suited for her.
