Play truly is the work of a child.

🧠 Between 12 & 24 mos, these toys encourage toddlers to experiment, ask questions, make predictions, and test their hypotheses! All of these critical brain building skills can happen through both independent play as well as play with a caregiver!

These early communication milestones are simply a guide-things to be on the lookout for and look forward to as your baby grows! But it is important to remember that every child is an individual and learns different skills at their own pace! Keep in mind that all of these milestones can develop within a RANGE of months. If your child isn’t meeting a milestone at the beginning of a range, give it time!

If you are concerned about your little ones development, Early Intervention is a FREE service for children birth-3 years old that provides services (speech, OT, PT, general development) in your home, daycare or community! They will come to you for an evaluation.
