The name "Ostara" is derived from the Germanic goddess of spring and fertility, who was worshipped during the festival. It is interesting to note that many of the symbols associated with Ostara, such as eggs and rabbits, have also become popular in modern Easter celebrations. What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Welcome to Downbeach Reiki™. My journey as a lightworker began many years ago. It wasn't until recently when I began to listen, in the true form of the art, that I turned to Reiki and all that it means to be connected. I began gathering information about the sacred art of Reiki. After experiencing Reiki, feeling the energy and peace it brings, I felt compelled to share it.

I began my journey down the Reiki path and found an amazing tribe. I am currently a Crystal Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki Master Practitioner with advanced knowledge of the symbols in Reiki. I am attuned to the Usui/Holy Fire System of Reiki Healing and continually adding to my healing tools.
