If your last test was “a while ago,” this is your sign.
Not because you did anything wrong, but because s*xual health is just health.

Save this for later.
Or send it to someone who keeps putting it off.

Are you due for a STD check-up?

STIs don’t always have symptoms, and early testing can prevent long-term complications.

Testing isn’t about fear. It’s about self-respect, responsibility, and care. ✨

This isn’t meant to scare you, it’s meant to inform you.

Untreated STIs don’t always go away on their own.
Sometimes they quietly turn into bigger problems:

• Infertility
• Ectopic pregnancies
• Chronic pelvic pain
• In men, urethral strictures that can make it hard (or painful) to urinate

And the hardest part?
Most people don’t feel symptoms until real damage has already started.

Regular testing isn’t about assuming the worst.
It’s about catching things early…. when treatment is simple, effective, and protective.

It’s one of the most loving things you can do for your body.
Not out of fear, out of care. 🌿

If it’s been a while, let this be your Monday reminder:
Your future self will thank you for taking care of today.

✨ Testing available at BeyondMed. Link in bio.

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable and treatable forms of cancer if caught early.
Regular screening is crucial to detect changes in the cervix that could, if untreated, develop into cancer.

After the holidays, rest isn’t optional—it’s essential. For Black bodies and minds, slowing down is an act of care, healing, and resistance.

Today, give yourself 10 minutes of intentional rest.

No productivity.
No guilt.
Just presence.

May we choose restoration over rushing.

Beyond|Med Telehealth: Formation Story

Beyond|Med Telehealth was formed by two African American nurse practitioners who joined together to improve, not only the physical health of individuals, but also their mental and emotional health. Sharee Clarke and Lonnie Jones, both posses several years of nursing and leadership experience and are experts in disease prevention and treatment, risk reduction and health education. Ironically, they were both born and raised in New Jersey, but were not connected until they met in the Metro Atlanta Area in 2015. From there, they learned that their personal and professional goals aligned to form a company that shared their most important values and mission to provide quality care to their patients. Therefore, Beyond|Med Telehealth was created to meet clients where they are, by providing a telemedicine platform with the aim of improving overall wellness. Now was their chance to finally have a platform where they could provide evidence-based care to patients in a way that was convenient and relatable to patients. The light bulb went off and their excitement created the momentum for the practice you see today.
