Thinking about different green bean recipes because now I have way too many 🤣. I'm experimenting with a new variety this year, and I'm happy that it's so prolific. Now just to get encourage these kids to eat them. 😬

Part of the joy of grdening is learning something new every season. This year I decided to grow that were tied historically to my location. One of them being the North Georgia Candy Roaster. While I'm not in the mountains, I figured this would fair better in the climate. So far it's faired the heat very well and produced many squash. I'm glad I did a littled research ahead of time and set up my supportive trellis in time because once the plant started growing, the vines had insanely fast growth! 😳🤪 it definitely would have taken over the corner of the garden where it resides.

I'm so tickled today! 🤗 I finally got some nasturtiums to germinate. I know, I know " but are so easy to grow!" I think we all hve that one plant that we have trouble with 💁🏽‍♀️

Sourdough experiment #4. I think it's coming along nicely. We had to rescue the starter, since it started to bubble...and then completely stopped. 😯 Apparently it needed a little warm water and a touch of honey.
