A 2019 study by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the death records of 11,620 veterinarians found males veterinarians were more than twice as likely to die by su***de than others in the general population.

This is a good reminder. We have seen a few dogs that have consumed products with xylitol. Sometimes they present in seizures because their sugar is low. If not treated it can be fatal. Make sure that you know what is in the food/treats you offer your pets. Also, if you have snoopy pets, keep the gun and mints high if they contain this. The concentration of xylitol is so varied across the different brands of even chewing gum and it is hard to determine the exact amount in each piece. Be safe - keep it away from prying noses and curious mouths!! (Thanks to Jim Rose for the bulletin).
