Which step is the most difficult for you?
As a former chronic pain warrior and pain reprocessing practitioner, I have found that ALL 4 steps are.
Why?
📌 Feeling calm and in control allows you to observe sensations safely and without heightening existing sensations due to fear
📌 Mindbody techniques allow you to down regulate the nervous system. Which also will increase self-efficacy and hope in having a pain-free future
📌 Positive Reinforcement teaches the brain through experience that your pain is temporary or fluctuates = therefore the pain is NEUROPLASTIC and REVERSIBLE!!
