We hung a festive coloring mural in the hallway, and both residents and staff have been loving it! It’s been such a fun, simple way to bring everyone together and brighten our day. Christmas spirit is truly in full color at Francis Marion Manor!

Park Ranger Michael from Hungry Mother State Park stopped by today with Kernal the corn snake, their amazing animal ambassador! 🐍💛

Our residents and staff loved learning all about Kernal and getting an up-close look at this gentle lady.

We were excited to welcome the Wytheville Community College nursing students into our facility on Tuesday! They spent the day shadowing our nurses and CNAs, learning hands-on care, and joining residents for some fun-filled activities.

From Candy Dice and UNO to Bingo and Noodle Ball, our residents loved having them here. The students brought such wonderful energy to every game and interaction.

Thank you, WCC nursing students, for spending the day with us! We hope to see you again soon. 🩷
