How did you do it all those years dad? You stayed strong and worked through the pain no matter how bad it was. Nobody says it better than Conway Twitty in "That's My Job" when he said "Every person carves his spot
And fills the hole with light
And I pray someday I might
Light as bright as he". I wish I could be half the man he was and had half his strength.

I don't understand why the older I get the more I miss you and the more I need you. I am now two years older than you ever had the pleasure of becoming and it's not fair. I don't know how you stayed so strong. But I'm a Criswell and can't give up

This year will mark the 25th anniversary of the day I lost the best person I ever knew, my Dad, Dwight Richard Criswell on my birthday. He would have been 74 years old, He was 49 years old when he died and I will be turning 49 on December 30th. It is hitting me REALLY hard this year, I'd appreciate anyone who is willing to share a favorite memory of him. I want to remember him in a good way, not that he is gone, Keep his memory alive and share.

Yesterday, January 22, 2019 would have been the 88th wedding anniversary for my paternal grandparents, Jack & Alberta Criswell! They were married in 1931.

Some days are harder than others. I don't know how you did it all those years. No matter what you were going through you never stopped. I wish I had half the strength and will you did. In two years I will be the same age as you were when the God sent you to be with his Angels. I know you have your wings. My guardian angel.
