DEV-TAC, LLC, Training, and Consulting is dedicated to a single objective: offering essential tools and training to schools, businesses, and organizations to ensure safety and security in today's world. We conduct thorough risk assessments and develop comprehensive emergency plans to help reduce vulnerability in case of an emergency. Kathy Devlin, the owner of DEV-TAC, has more than 26 years of experience in law enforcement and nearly 10 years of experience in school security. Her goal is to equip clients with the right tools and resources to prevent crime, reduce fear, and promote safety in their work and/or school environments.

“I’ve always had a commitment to office and school safety. In recent years, our country has seen numerous instances of workplace and school violence. While all may not have been preventable, our company seeks to educate staff on what to do in case of emergency. As an expert in the field, I know that DEV-TAC, LLC could help reduce risk and reduce injury when an adverse situation does arise.”

March is Women’s History Month and today is International Women’s Day. In honor of my female law enforcement colleagues here are some interesting facts: The first sworn female police officer in the U.S. was Lola Baldwin in 1908 for the Portland, Oregon PD. Georgia Ann Robinson was the first black female sworn in 1916 for LAPD and in 1946 LAPD hired Josphine Serrrano as the first Latina. The first sworn female in New Jersey was Constance Kopp (pictured below) in 1916 and in 1980 my New Jersey State Police 96th class was the first and only all-female class. Remember these groundbreaking women and please support all our law enforcement professionals.
