On Friday, we pulled off a wonderful surprise for our Activity Director! We celebrated her birthday and took the opportunity to recognize all the love and energy she bring to our staff and residents every single day!
She had NO idea what was coming-when someone asked about the gathering, she laughed and said "What party? I'm the one who plans the parties! We're just getting ready to play dominoes!"
It was a joy to finally turn the tables and give her a celebration she didn't have to plan. Thank you for all you do-to truly make life brighter for everyone here!

Today, our activity director and coordinator from Glenwood Place treated the staff at Mitchell Family Funeral Home to a delicious lunch from Sub City as a token of appreciation for their generous sponsorship of the petting zoo.
Their kindness and support brought smiles to so many faces and truly made a difference. We're grateful for the partnership and the shared commitment to bringing joy to our community.

A big thank you to Mitchell Funeral Home for sponsoring a special visit from the Hovick Family Petting Zoo! Residents and staff alike had a wonderful time interacting with all the animals. It was a heartwarming and joyful experience that brought lots of smiles to everyone's faces. We truly appreciate your support in making this memorable day possible!

Thank you to everyone who came out for our Show & Shine Car Show-even in the heat! 🌞🚗 We truly appreciate your support and enthusiasm. Despite the high temps, our residents had a fantastic time admiring the cars, connecting with the community, and enjoying the day. Stay cool, and can't wait to see you at the next event!

On Thursday we had a farewell party for Bailey our social worker as Friday was her last day with us. Bailey worked five years with our residents starting as a CNA, and working her way into the social worker position. We celebrated with cake, and a game of the human slot machine. Residents, staff, and even the families are truly going to miss Bailey. We wish her well in her next chapter.

On July 17th our residents had a bingo marathon, and we could not have done it without the help of so many. We would like to thank Culvers, Lillie Mae Chocolates, Ma Browns Cookies, Applebees, Jimmy Johns, and as always Suncrest Hospice. We want to thank Melissa Sanders, Kim Springer, Amber Smith, and Terry Umbarger, I really hope we got everyone, and if not I am truly sorry. We are thankful for you all.

No entry fee. Cars, trucks, and bikes are all welcome. Residents are looking forward to a fun evening of checking out all the vehicles that will join us.

We celebrated the 4th of July with some hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill, and some ice cream sandwiches with red and blue sprinkles. Residents had fun talking about their favorite traditions growing up on the 4th, and did some red, white, and blue crafts
