Somewhere today, an old friend is being remembered.
Not with fireworks or noise… but in quiet moments. A folded flag. A worn photograph. Dog tags in a drawer. A story somebody still tells with tears in their eyes.
Memorial Day isn’t really about celebration. It’s about remembrance. About honoring the people who carried burdens most of us will never fully understand so others could live free beneath open skies and peaceful sunsets.
And maybe the most human thing we can do today is slow down for a minute… breathe in the wind, feel the sunlight on our face, and remember that freedom was paid for by somebody’s son, daughter, brother, sister, or best friend.
So today, love a little deeper. Hold your people closer. Look up at the sky and thank God for another day to live, laugh, heal, and keep moving
forward.
Peace. Love. Remembrance.
