I’m excited to be leading a series of yoga classes at Piedmont Arts in the new year! Find all of the details on the flyer and feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions. We will be alternating yoga and chair yoga classes each month. I have been on a journey with my health this year and my experience was a necessary reminder that getting on our hands and knees for yoga can be uncomfortable at times depending on our injuries, age, or physical health. I’m hoping there will be something for every body in this series of classes. The chair yoga will only include seated and standing postures. We’ll be practicing breathwork and meditation techniques in each class to calm our nervous systems and help bring our attention back to the present moment. Yoga is incredibly helpful for our physical and mental health as well as for navigating change, uncertainty, and the stress of our modern lives.
