Protein Water: Health hack or marketing trap? Before you grab another bottle of infused H2O, here are 4 health red flags about what’s actually inside:

🦷 Enamel erosion: to keep the protein, clear and liquid, these drinks are loaded with phosphoric acid. This high acidity can eat away at your tooth enamel far more than regular water ever would.

💦 The dehydration trap: it’s a paradox – your body actually needs extra water to process protein. If you’re replacing your pure water with “protein water“, you might actually end up less hydrated than when you started.

🧪 Highly processed: this isn’t “natural “hydration. It’s a mix of lab-filtered whey, acidifiers, and sweeteners used to mask the chalky taste of protein.
