My sweet Daddy passed away this weekend after nearly 17 years of battling Parkinson’s and I’ll never be the same 💔
In 2020 I called him and said “Dad, I think I’m going to try and start my own business.” And before I could even explain he said “You WILL start your own business, and I’ll be your first investor.”
That’s just the person my dad was: fearless, supportive, and unstoppable once his mind was made up. He bought my first tanning machine for me and encouraged me to sign up for training to get certified, and in all honesty he is the reason there is an Oh Yes You Tan today!
If I can be half the entrepreneur, cheerleader, and parent he was, then I’ll be proud.
I’m still taking clients in order to keep myself busy, but in case you see me looking a little scruffier than normal just know your tans will be flawless even if my puffy eyes aren’t. Thanks for being patient with me while I navigate a life without my “fixer”, my Baba, my friend.
Love you all… and please, call your dad 🤍
