This Veteran’s Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served our country and the families who support them. As a veteran-owned practice, this day holds special meaning for us.
Our CEO, Bill Noble, proudly served in the United States Army and continues to lead our team with that same dedication and integrity. Bill Noble graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1986 with a degree in Engineering Management, where he was also a member of the Army Football team. He served six years in the U.S. Army, completing advanced training including Airborne and Rotary Wing Aviator School, and became a qualified helicopter pilot. Bill served in Camp Casey, Korea, and later commanded a helicopter support unit flying UH-60A Blackhawks at Fort Lewis, Washington. Following his military service, he earned his MBA in Finance and General Management from Harvard Business School.
We are proud to recognize Thom Tedford, our Market Manager in the Birmingham market. A proud U.S. Army Desert Storm veteran and licensed optician with over 15 years of experience, Thom has opened countless locations and inspired hundreds across the optical industry. His passion for teaching and hands-on approach — from repairing equipment to guiding teams — ensures every patient receives the exceptional care they deserve. He’s a proud father of two and grandfather to twin granddaughters who keep his heart full and his motivation strong.
We are proud to honor Joseph Stover, a United States Marine whose service and dedication inspire us all. He is the husband of our Evansville East Store Manager, Brandi.
We also recognize Dr. John Mileski, a residency-trained optometrist with over 21 years of experience. Dr. Mileski has served as Chief of Optometry Services at USAF Hospital, RAF Lakenheath, England, and at medical clinics at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, and the USAF Academy, Colorado. A Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry since 2004, Dr. Mileski is passionate about providing outstanding eye care to every patient.
We are also proud to recognize Joseph Fiedorowicz, General Manager of our Gilbert, AZ location, who served eight years in the U.S. Army as a Chemical Operations Specialist. Joseph served active duty at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and in the reserves in Chicago, including a year deployed in Kuwait. He and his wife Jennifer live in San Tan Valley with their three children and two cats, Catalie Portman and Meowlania.
A special tribute goes to Master Sergeant and Purple Heart Recipient Nathaniel Chenault Sr., affectionately known as “the best daddy ever,” and father to our Kentucky Market Manager, Rebekah Weathers. His courage, sacrifice, and legacy of service continue to inspire us all.
Inspired by Johnny Mac and his legacy of courage and perseverance, we are honored to support the each year, helping make a difference in the lives of soldiers, veterans, and their families. This year, together with our patients, partners, and team, we have proudly raised over $100,000 for the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund.
We are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy, for the veterans who have defended them, and for the opportunity to continue serving with purpose every day.
