How TT&W came to be
I was working in the field of physical therapy for going on 5 years and saw a shift in patient care. Having grown up in a family owned PT clinic I saw first hand what it meant to run a clinic with patient care being the bottom line. As I ventured into being a PT myself I quickly realized that small clinics were few and far between and most were run by people who weren’t clinicians but business minded individuals. The focus shifted from quality of care to number of patients seen in a week. Leaving little room for those much needed conversations between patient and therapist, as well as a rushed schedule limiting time for the PT to think through and problem solve their caseload. My dad told me once, “If you don’t like your situation you can either quit complaining or change it.” So that’s what I’m on a mission to do.
I created Trinity Therapy and Wellness with the intention to provide patient care that is based on integrity, compassion, and service. To be in a position where I do everything I can to provide for a patient’s need. To be unlimited by productivity standards, insurance guidelines, and red tape. To bring back patient centered one on one care. To be able to carry a smaller caseload so that I have time to devote to thinking through each patient’s specific case and how best to approach their treatments. To be in control of my schedule in order to provide convenience for my patients to schedule and adequate time with them so they feel valued and not rushed.
My mission is to make people feel loved, heard, and cared for.
