Maci's Fight Many of you would like to have updates on how Maci. This is a way that everyone can support Maci in her fight against Systemic JIA.

Maci is a 9 year old fighting for her health and mobility. She became very ill on New Years Day 2013. She was diagnosed with Systemic JIA in June of 2014 after undergoing months of testing and hospitalizations. She has multiple doctor appointments each month, physical therapy, lab tests, X-rays, and scans. She takes over 12 different medications each day to support her health. She has had heart an

d kidney damage, has been hospitalized for heart failure and has lost vision in her left eye. She has 6 fractures in her back and has brittle bones. At times she is in a wheelchair to help with pain management and swelling when walking.
