I’ve been waiting to post this until we finished her full series… but I couldn’t hold this one in 😍✨

Tattooed & successful 🖤 you CAN be both.

Most of us grew up with society telling us that we’d never be taken serious with tattoos, that they would hold us back from any career worth having. And that may have been true, for a while at least.

I remembering hiding my tattoos in business settings for years in fear of being judged for what society deemed as unprofessional, or even “trashy”. I’ve always been cautious about being me too freely; I felt as if I had to hide who I really am, a wild, free spirited, rough around the edges girl with tattoos. Even just a year ago, I was afraid I’d run into clients who just wouldn’t accept me or take me seriously as a business professional.

Today, I am confident and proud to be who I am in ALL aspects, with every client, and my business is thriving because of it. My art work represents who I am & what I’ve been through, and has nothing to do with my work ethic or professionalism. If a client, vendor, dr, etc doesn’t like that, they don’t have to work with me. I do not have to make myself smaller to make others comfortable. 🫶🏻

Fortunately it is 2023 and times are changing, so tattoos are a lot more acceptable in business. Nonetheless, I am truly thankful to work for myself and have a career where I have the space to fully be me, and clients who truly accept me and love me for who I am. 💖
