Monday's devotional for the week 8/18 thru 8/22/25
NOT SO FUN FACT... Even during the blessing of a new day to experience God's grace, for some people, murmuring and complaining is as easy for them to do as breathing in the fresh air of a another day on this side of glory, so if you truly believe, as we Christians love to profess, that "the joy of the Lord is my strength," then 'stop' with all your constant whining and complaining, especially in the presence of others unfortunate enough to be within earshot of your incessant moaning & groaning about life being unfair when things aren't working out the way you envisioned, for life doesn't follow a set script, and your complaints are not only dismissing God's existence in your life enough to hinder your prayers from being answered in a timely fashion, your moody disposition makes life much to uncomfortable for others to want to be around you & your unhappiness when they have their own struggles and disappointments to deal with, so instead of looking for things to gripe about, look for things to be grateful for [starting with] the fact that while you laid down and slept last night, the Lord sustained you and saw fit to wake you up this morning [Psalm 3:5]
