David Green, Chair for the Buffalo Trace Agency for Substance Abuse Committee (BT-ASAP) presented a check today for the Mason County Sheriff’s K-9 program to Deputy Sheriff Jacob Johnson, at the Regional Prevention Center. New mini-grant applications for the Buffalo Trace Region are now being accepted until January 5th, 2026. For more information, please contact RPC at (606) 759-7799.

We’re honored to once again take part in the local Christmas Toy Drive- a heartfelt tradition that began years ago with our friends at Maysville Fire Department and has continued with the help of many community partners. Your support helps ensure that every child in our community experiences the joy of the season. If you’d like to contribute, financial donations may be made to Central Baptist Church with the memo “Toy Drive 2025." Physical drop-off locations are listed below.

Please note: this initiative is separate from our annual Christmas with Cops program, hosted by the Fraternal Order of Police Limestone Lodge #5, Maysville, KY. If you are one of our many long-time donors to that program, the FOP is still accepting donations at P.O. Box 271, Maysville KY. Both efforts are deeply meaningful to us at MPD, and we’re grateful for your continued support.

Hello mommas, please join us for our healthy baby workshop coming up! If you or someone you know is expecting, we invite you to join us, located at the Robertson County Public Library, from 12-2PM on November 20th, 2025. The event will feature snacks and beverages, along with the opportunity to earn exciting goodies and prizes! This event is open to anyone who is pregnant, as well as women up to one year postpartum. You are welcome to bring a support person if needed. Please remember to bring your insurance card, as some paperwork will be required. We look forward to seeing you there! 😊
