Comprehend, Inc. We are the provider of behavioral healthcare and developmental services in the Buffalo Trace Region.

No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. There is Discounted/Sliding Fee Scale available based on family size and income. Comprehend is a community mental healthcare provider offering comprehensive behavioral health services including counseling, case management, psychiatric, day treatment and a variety of services for children and adults with behavioral health disorders a

nd addictions. Our staff of fully licensed, professionals provides behavioral health care services in Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment, Mental Health (children and adults), and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Comprehend’s Children’s Services staff offers early intervention services to elementary school children. Studies show that mental health has a complex interactive relationship with their physical health and their ability to succeed in school and in society. We currently provide First Steps for children ages 0 to 3 that have early developmental delays, Dinosaur School for children ages 3 to 8, which teaches young people anger management skills, conflict resolution and a range of positive pro-social behaviors. Comprehend’s Addictions Services provides an Intensive Outpatient Program for individuals as well as an Intensive Outpatient Program for Expectant Mothers who suffer from addiction.

FREE Summer Meals are back at the Limestone Family YMCA!

This summer, we’re helping feed our community by providing FREE Grab & Go meals for children 18 & under — with NO income restrictions!
Families can pick up boxed meals that include:
- 7 breakfasts
- 7 lunches

Multiple pickup locations available throughout the week across our community.

- Program runs May 26 – August 21.
Children must be registered for the program, but they do not need to be present during pickup. Families may only pick up from ONE location per week.
Help us spread the word so no child goes hungry this summer!
