Healthy Kids And Teens Of South Texas, Inc is a non-profit organization that was formed in 2019 to aid families by providing free and nutritious meals to the children in our community.
Since then, Martin Alvarado and Mary Alice Rodriguez Alvarado have devoted their time and financal resources to this charity.

Two current Healthy Kids’ fundraisers include:
- a community garage sale (4/27/2024) & a
- raffle drawing for a Limited Edition Corvette (5/10/24 - only 200 tickets will be sold).

We are thrilled to invite you to join us at an upcoming rally in support of Mr. Ayala, Ms. Sosa and Mr. Contreras as they seek election and re-election as City of Hidalgo Commisioners. This stop along their canvassing will be a momentous occasion to come together as a community and show our unwavering support for these candidates’ visions and leadership.

This is Martin’s son, Martin Alvarado Jr.

He and I are SO proud of this young man! He has always been such an intelligent, caring and driven young man.

He’s absolutely brilliant, while excelling in his studies to be an M.D.

He recently received DHR’s first ever award for his work in the ECMO program.

He is sure to thrive in all that he does. We pray that the Lord continue to bless him in his studies so that he can pursue assisting those in his care. 🙏🏼
