Because of the City of McComb’s incredible generosity combined with Selectwoman Terri Waterman-Baylor’s leadership, $22,000 is now at work providing comfort, care, and strength to patients at the Mississippi Cancer Institute. We’re honored by the continued support of our community and beyond thankful all who contributed to Selectwoman Baylor’s ongoing mission to give back.

Southwest Health and the Mississippi Cancer Institute express our sincere appreciation for this donation that advances our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional care right here, close to home. What a powerful example of what a community can do together.

Our community helped raise $22,000 to support those battling breast cancer and the survivors who continue to inspire us. This contribution was delivered to the Mississippi Cancer Institute, where it will go toward care, support, and hope for patients and their families. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this possible, and a special thank you to Selectwoman Terri Waterman-Baylor for leading this effort.

The team at the Mississippi Cancer Institute is growing, and we are seeking a detailed-oriented Radiation Therapist. In this full-time position with benefits, you'll play an essential role in delivering precise, high-quality radiation treatments while providing comfort and reassurance to patients throughout their care journey.

What to Expect:
-Administer prescribed radiation therapy under the direction of radiation oncologists
-Operate and maintain treatment equipment with accuracy and attention to safety
-Collaborate with the oncology care team to ensure seamless, patient-centered treatment
-Offer guidance and emotional support to patients and families before, during, and after therapy sessions

Join Mississippi Blood Services tomorrow for our blood drive at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center, 10am-2pm in the 6th floor auditorium. Every donor will receive a $15 Visa and the chance to change someone’s life!

To make sure our team can continue serving you smoothly, our outpatient clinics will close at 12:00 pm this Thursday, November 20, for a planned network outage. We’ll be ready to welcome you again the following morning when we resume normal operations.
