Staff Highilght! Meet Michele Green!

Michele Green, LPC, NBCCH, CAMS is a licensed therapist. She graduated from Norfolk State University with a graduate degree in Urban Education, Guidance, and Counseling. She is the co-founder of Gathering Precious Stones. Ms. Green is extensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (NBCCH), is a Certified Anger Management Specialist, and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. She is a certified Impact Trainer which provides training for foster parents and is also a certified CPR Trainer. She has created treatment and training curriculums on a wide range of mental health topics including parenting, staff development, and anger management. She regularly facilitates skill-building group and individual training sessions on issues such as emotional regulation, anger management, and parenting. Ms. Green is a community activist and much of her work has been directed towards empowering women and families. She has also focused intensely on work with at-risk and under-privileged youth within the community.
