Detox tips for supporting liver and gallbladder health naturally.

Commonly studied natural compounds and foods that support liver and gallbladder function include:

1. Malic acid: Found naturally in apples and pears. Promotes bile flow and healthy digestion. Some people take supplements that are available but it’s best obtained through whole foods.

2. Vitamin C: Important antioxidant for liver health. Good sources include:
- Citrus fruits
- Bell peppers
- Broccoli
- Strawberries

3. Cilantro/Coriander: Traditional herb studied for potential beneficial effects on digestion. Can be easily added to meals.

- Stay well hydrated with water throughout the day
- Eat plenty of fiber-rich foods like vegetables, fruits, and whole grains
- Limit processed foods and alcohol
- Exercise regularly as it supports overall metabolic health
- Consider starting your day with lemon water, which contains citric acid that may support digestion
