The Cleft The Cleft is a non-profit organization that provides a safe, stable, spiritual shelter for girls ages 13-18.

Admittance eligibility criteria: Any girl who has lost parents through death, has been abandoned, abused, neglected, or referred by an outside agency may be admitted to the home. Girls may also be referred by parents or other family members. Girls will be required to complete an admission application, have a current immunization record, physical examination, drug screen, pregnancy test, and crimin

al background check. The Cleft will not accept girls who are pregnant or using illegal drugs. Any girl who meets the criteria above will be admitted to The Cleft provided space is available. All applicants, along with parents/guardians if available, must be interviewed and evaluated by the director(s) prior to admittance.
