Here’s how to get more (without overhauling your meals):
🍓 Add berries to yogurt, oatmeal, or smoothies
🍞 Choose whole grains like oats, quinoa, or seeded bread
🥕 Snack on raw veggies, roasted chickpeas, or popcorn
🫘 Toss beans or lentils into salads, soups, or bowls

You’ve probably seen electrolyte packets everywhere lately - and yes, they can be helpful for hydration and performance.

But more doesn’t always mean better. 👇

Here’s when electrolytes actually help:
✅ You’re sweating a lot (think hot workouts, long runs, sauna use)
✅ You’re training for 60+ minutes
✅ You’re sick and losing fluids (fever, vomiting, diarrhea)

When you probably don’t need them daily:
🚫 Low-intensity movement (like walks or casual lifts)
🚫 If you’re already getting sodium, potassium, and magnesium through food
🚫 If you’re just trying to hydrate for the day

Pro tip: Use electrolytes as a tool, not a default.

Whether you’re strength training, running, or just chasing a busy schedule, eating enough consistently supports your energy, strength, and recovery.

Here’s an example of a full day of meals to help you feel fueled, not fatigued:

☀️ Breakfast
– Oatmeal with banana + peanut butter
– Side of scrambled eggs

🥙 Lunch
– Grain bowl with grilled chicken, roasted veggies, + feta

Here’s how we help clients fuel for holidays like the 4th of July without restriction 👇

☀️ Morning movement? Don’t skip breakfast.
You still need fuel - especially if you’re walking, biking, or working out before the party.

🍽️ At the BBQ:
Focus on protein + carbs to support energy and recovery.
👉 Think: burgers, grilled chicken, corn, fruit salad, pasta salad, buns - yes, buns!

🥤 Hydration = key.
Hot weather + drinks = increased need for water. Toss in some electrolytes or fruit-infused water.

🍦Don’t skip dessert out of guilt.
A festive cookie or scoop of ice cream isn’t “off track” - it’s part of the full picture. Satisfaction matters too.
