The funeral will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023 at the McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY @ 10AM. Burial will follow in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton on Monday, April 17, 2023.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of this amazing wonderful, spiritual woman Janet Russell.
I am Chrissy Marie and manage this Page for Janet as most people know. I have known Janet more than half my life and she literally was my oldest friend. She was always there for her family, myself and others..especially the furbabies. She absolutely loved her cats and loved all animals. She was always donating any extra cash she had to a local rescue that she held dear to her heart and that we did multiple fundraisers for.

She was such a firecracker that told you things straight no matter how crazy it may have sounded. She loved her rants, it was her therapy. She loved when people wrote her back to show that you cared.
She was a damn good Psychic/Medium, but mainly a good friend.

Will update on arrangements as I find out, it will be local.
