World Mental Health Day, held on October 10th this year, highlights the critical importance of accessible, community-based mental health support, particularly during times of crisis. The World Health Organization (WHO) campaign this year, mental health in humanitarian emergencies, reminds us that investing in evidence-based, community interventions and ensuring continuity of care saves lives and strengthens recovery.

Meet Dan, one of our amazing physical therapists in our Iowa office. Dan brings compassion and expertise to every patient he cares for and has been an incredible part of our team. Outside of work, Dan enjoys a good book, playing board games, scaling indoor climbing walls, and finding new ways to stay active through exercise.

Our Iowa team came together to raise awareness, build hope, and take meaningful steps toward a future of mental health for all.

This year, we were proud to sponsor this inspiring event to spread awareness of mental health resources across Iowa and raise critical funds for free support groups, education, and advocacy through NAMI Iowa.

Last week, Innovive Health celebrated the opening of our new Iowa office in Des Moines with a ribbon cutting alongside our referral partners and the Des Moines Chamber of Commerce!

This expansion marks an important step in bringing our nationally recognized behavioral home healthcare model to Iowa, where more than 128,000 residents live with severe mental illness and nearly 7 in 10 adults with a mental health diagnosis also manage another chronic condition. By delivering care at home, Innovive helps reduce costly hospitalizations and improve outcomes for some of the state’s most vulnerable patients.

We’re proud to continue our mission of transforming care for individuals with complex behavioral and medical needs in the communities where they live.

Following our successful expansion into Iowa earlier this year, Innovive Health has been providing skilled nursing and therapy services to adults with serious mental illness and complex medical needs.

By combining compassionate care with data-driven insights, we aim to improve outcomes, reduce hospitalizations, and support Iowa patients where they feel most comfortable, at home.
