The Mt. Ashland Hill Climb 📍 the climb that can break or build people! + rocked this to the top! Great job, guys 🙌🏼

“Mt. Ashland Hill Climb. By far one of the hardest races/hikes l’ve ever done! So grateful for for supporting me and hiking with me, for believing in me when I couldn’t believe in myself (and pulling me up that last leg when my legs gave out). No one id rather wipe out on the snow with 😅

13.5 miles uphill.
A vertical mile.
5600 ft of elevation gain, just...one big hill.
But it was beautiful. And fun. And so, SO hard.

Thank you, for this advice. For talking me into signing up (I was definitely not thanking you 9 miles in) and for getting me back on the trail when I was ready.

Thank you for this crazy race. The people are what make races like these such a cool experience- 1 can’t believe how many young kids and teens just absolutely crushed it and left us in the dust (16 athletes under the age of 13?! You kidding me??) The 10 year old girl in front of us hiked the last 5 miles without a shoe on. whut. ( incredible.

Last but not least, shout out to the guy marking the course at mile 2(?) - your stoke for every racer and LIFE at 7 AM was everything.

Boom! We did it!

Southern Oregon (and beyond) was lit up with colors, and our friend captured this tree silhouette so beautifully! We absolutely had to share 💫

“Holy solar storm! Even though the forecasted potential for a chance to see the Aurora was the best in two decades, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was blown away to be able to see the Northern Lights with the naked eye just outside of Ashland. Timelapse to come!”

Reflections of the beginning of Autumn in Southern Oregon 🍂

This picture I captured this week a couple miles down the road from where I live currently and grew up at. I have alot of memories in this old historic building, that served as a town hall for some time. It hasn't seen any people in a while, but I noticed there's a mud puddle that appears after a rain now in front.

In fact I've been taking photos since last winter in the snow of it, but this shot today really was worth posting since it perfectly timed the transitioning into Autumn for us here in Southern Oregon. Gotta love those Maple trees!!”
