For the seventh time, the hospital earned a five-star rating — the highest rating awarded — from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Three Rivers is one of only two hospitals in Oregon to achieve this distinction.

Swapping scrubs for spatulas, our very own Leslie Looney, Dietician and Dr. Daniel Wieking teamed up recently at the Asante Outpatient Center in Grants Pass to share cooking tips for wellness.

The class was a fun-filled afternoon with patients and community members learning new recipes and cooking for wellness. The pair is hosting a new class each quarter. Stay tuned!

Our Asante Physician Partners Urology clinic is now an outpatient department of the hospital and opened in its newly renovated location at 2859 State Street in Medford today! The larger space provides access to support the increasing need for urological services within our community.

Asante has named Chris Pizzi as the Chief Operating and Financial Officer of Rogue Regional Medical Center.

“We’re excited to have Chris join our executive team at Rogue Regional Medical Center and support our largest hospital. Chris is a skilled leader and a committed community member of southern Oregon with a passion for sustainable health care,” said Brandon Mencini, CEO of Rogue Regional Medical Center and Ashland Community Hospital.

Chris has more than 25 years of experience in health system operations, strategy, and finance leadership. He spent the past four years as the Chief Executive of Providence Oregon’s South Division and Providence Medford Medical Center where he led medical group integration, instituted lean and value stream management and improved access to care.

Chris is thrilled to be staying in southern Oregon with his family and will begin his new role on July 21, 2025.
