🌾Sacred Soil Reflection…

Am I the only one who feels like January just… lingers? 🥶🙋🏽‍♀️

It’s cold, darker earlier, and everything feels a little slower.

But here’s the reframe.

January isn’t a “push” month for me.
It’s a pause month.

A time to hibernate, quiet my thoughts, and move at the pace of nature.🍂

This is the season for rest, reflection, and gently firming up intentions— not rushing the process.

Because soon enough, every month after January will go by at lightning speed ⚡️
and we’ll wish we honored this sacred pause a little more.

Nothing looks like it’s happening on the surface,
but beneath the soil… everything is preparing to bloom. 🌱🌻

✨Sacred Soil Soul Reflection✨

I’ve been journaling for over 25 years, and today it’s more than a habit —
it’s a way of life.
A sacred part of my mental wellbeing.
A space where I meet myself in truth.

There is something powerful about sitting still long enough to write what you feel…
your thoughts, your fears, your hopes, your prayers.

Journaling teaches you how to listen to your own soul.
It becomes a place to release what’s heavy.

A place to name what hurts.
A place to celebrate what’s healing.
And over time, it becomes one of the most loving ways you can support yourself.

Not to be perfect — just to be present.

It’s GOD’s plan to answer His promises.
Sometimes the new thing is the very fulfillment of prayers you whispered seasons ago.

Sometimes it arrives wrapped in change you didn’t expect…😉

But every shift carries His faithfulness.🙏🏽

If you’re in a season of transition, trust this:
What feels like an ending is often the doorway to promise fulfilled.

It is truly a privilege to know where you come from. As a Black woman, I am deeply honored to know my lineage — to understand the power, resilience, and strength that runs through my DNA. I am proud to honor my ancestors, because their sacrifices live on through me.

If there was ever a time to know your heritage and your history, it is now — to know the power that flows through your heart and soul. These two people in this photo are my great-grandparents — both powerful in their own right, both visionaries for their time.

My great-grandfather made education a priority for every one of his children, and in the early twentieth century, he purchased over 300 acres of land — land that still exists today. That is legacy. That is vision. That is generational power.

We must never forget where we come from.

Wednesday’s Wisdom Tip…✨🌻

I am in my Wise Woman season, and it is through the richness of lived experience that I now carry this wisdom. There is no greater teacher than life itself. Life will always show you more than words ever could — and that remains my personal truth.

If you find yourself in a relationship where you must repeatedly ask to be seen, heard, or cared for, it may be time to lovingly pause and reflect. Sometimes the greatest act of self-honor is questioning what we have normalized. Far too often, we settle for far less than we deserve, even when our spirit is quietly reminding us that we are not meant to remain where we are merely tolerated instead of truly valued.

True safety in love is not built on having to plead for your needs to matter.

Safety is found in being in spaces where your needs are already understood — and your presence is already honored. 🌿

Monday’s Mindset | Sacred Soil Reflection 🌿

Me and my mini-me truly had a time.🥰☺️

There is something profoundly special about hearing the words:

“Don’t worry, Mom—dinner is on me.”
“Don’t worry, Mom—drinks are on me.”
“Don’t worry, Mom—I’ll do all the driving.”

In those moments, my heart overflowed with gratitude.
All I could whisper was, “Thank You, God.”

Of all the accomplishments I could ever name, my greatest will always be this—
that I had the honor of raising two amazing, highly intelligent, successful, and compassionate women of God, women who are already making their mark and will continue to leave an indelible imprint on this world.

This is legacy.
This is answered prayer.
This is grace unfolding.

As I step into 2026, I do so with immense gratitude, humility, and a heart full of praise—knowing that what was planted in love is now bearing fruit.

🙏🏽 Thank You, God, for the harvest.

Monday’s Mindset | Sacred Soil Reflection 🌿

We all find ourselves in pursuit of something—
more security, new opportunities, deeper relationships, or a sense of peace.

As I step into 2026, my intention is clear and sacred: to pursue more of God.

Not through striving or doing more—but through stillness, silence, and sacred quiet.

The world is loud and demanding. Constant noise competes for our attention and can slowly disconnect us from the One who already holds every answer we are seeking.

When I reflect on the disciples of Jesus Christ, I’m reminded that they were not theologians trained in religious theory. They were seekers of truth—men willing to leave what was familiar in order to know God more deeply.

Scripture teaches us:
“Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto thee.”

As I enter 2026, my pursuit is God’s presence.
Because it is in God that we return to our Divine connection.

It is in God that clarity is restored.

It is in God that we remember the wisdom already placed within us.

If your spirit is longing for stillness…

Monday’s Mindset | Sacred Soil Reflection 🌿

As I reflect on my life, one of the most important things we can cultivate is the power to pivot.

There is wisdom in knowing when the well has run dry.
That awareness alone is a sacred lesson.

Oftentimes, we stand in our own way.
We find ourselves stuck… comfortable… or quietly complacent.
Yet deep within, we know a change is needed.
We begin to long for something more aligned, more fulfilling, more true.

Our soul often whispers first—
a gentle inner nudge calling us to shift, to move, to realign.
But when we are surrounded by constant noise, disconnected from stillness, or lacking trust in our inner voice, that nudge can be easily missed.

Stillness and silence are not empty spaces.

They are where clarity is restored.
They are where discernment is sharpened.
They are where God speaks and where our soul remembers what it already knows.

If you’ve been feeling the quiet pull to change direction, trust it.

Do not be afraid to pivot.

Sometimes the pivot is not a failure—it is obedience, wisdom, and growth.
