Today was about following the needs of my body. When I’m up here at the lake, I wanna jump in the kayak, I wanna take a walk, I wanna visit with people. However, today, my body said “feel of heat of the stones on your feet as you walk”. My body said “walk slowly”. My body said “lay down and watch the lake even if it’s from your bed”. Following your body is not always possible, but at some point, we have to listen. Or at least I have to listen.
take a second to tune in to your body start with your head, move down your neck, down your back, down your legs to your feet. Notice your feet. How does your body feel? Energized? Tired? Achy? Alive? Maybe more than one feeling, notice it and be grateful.
