Why I Became a Christian Life Coach & Entered the Mental Health Field

🔥 When the fire became my furnace of faith…

Before I ever earned a certification or led a coaching session, I was living the lessons I now teach.

By the time I was eight, I had already survived more than most adults.
I lost my first sister to brain cancer when I was two.
I endured sexual abuse between four and six.
And I survived a house fire that claimed my two other siblings when I was eight.

I grew up asking God, “Why did You save me?”
For years, I carried guilt, shame, and pain — but what looked like destruction was really divine construction.

God interrupted my trauma to birth transformation.
He disrupted my fear to reveal my faith.

That’s why I became a Christian Life Coach and Certified Peer Recovery Specialist.
Because healing doesn’t come through hiding. It comes through honesty, faith, and the courage to face what hurt you — with God guiding you every step of the way.

Now, I help women over 40 break up with fear, silence shame, and rebuild their lives on a firm foundation of faith.

Mindful Gratitude 🤍

This jar represents a practice that changed how I live.

Not because life became easy.
Not because anxiety disappeared overnight.

But because I learned to slow down long enough to notice God.

Mindful gratitude isn’t pretending everything is fine.
It’s choosing to give thanks in the middle of real life.

Whenever my thoughts felt loud, I wrote something down.
Whenever worry tried to take over, I paused and remembered.

Over time, gratitude became a discipline.
And peace began to follow.

“In everything give thanks…” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18

This isn’t a prop.
It’s a testimony.
