Maybe you’ve been off the pill for years or maybe you just got on it with no plans to stop anytime soon. Here are some things I wish I would have known sooner.
Do you have unresolved digestive issues or the inability to lose weight? Are you also on the pill or EVER been on the pill? There def is evidence that there is a correlation.
If you haven’t already read my first post abt the pill do that now to understand how it can strip us of important nutrients and minerals. there are studies that it comes in and messes up our gut flora and our estrogen metabolism.
Ladies... gut issues are directly linked to sleep disorders, anxiety, depression, and obviously inflammatory bowel disease! (Plus so much more) this isn’t meant to be doom and gloom by any means it’s more of informed consent AND empowering you with info you may need to get started reversing some of these issues.
A study of 75,000 women who took oral contraceptives were more likely to be diagnosed with leaky gut, ulcerative colitis, and Chrons. There was also a 60% increase in endogenous estrogen and almost 6 times increases in sex-hormone binding globulin.
All this can lead to poor nutrient absorption which can lead to food sensitivities which can lead to a long list of other issues.
Moral of the story work on CELLULAR HEALING! Find what your body needs to be nourished and research what your putting into your body.
