Kudos alert! we love to brag on our employees! One parent shared that they have seen a great deal of improvement since Miss Lydia started seeing their child. She even demonstrated therapeutic use of self when the child was having difficulty with emotional regulation and assisted with calming the child . Way to go Lydia!

Thanks to Germantown for hosting for a team bonding event. As occupational therapists, we understand the need for healthy coping strategies. Painting is definitely a great coping strategy! We can honestly say that we DO enjoy working together.

Meet Miss Felicia, our newest COTA/L She’s our sensory queen and our friends already adore her!

Felicia graduated from the Pima Medical Institute in Houston Texas. When asked why she choose a career in occupational therapy, she states, “The reason I became a COTA is because I wanted a career where I feel like I could make a difference not only for my kiddos but help the families make an impact as well. Being a first generation college graduate and that to coming from an ethnic background it was very important for me to find a career where I feel like I could not only make a difference in whatever I do but help spread the knowledge and awareness for the therapy world that is unknown to a lot of people. I love what I do and wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. I am basically a big kid myself so I couldn’t have found a more rewarding career.”

One fun fact about Miss Felicia is that One interesting fact about me is that “ I love dinosaurs and snakes but hate spiders and roaches (I know weird right lol) 💖 “
