Hello all
I am casting for the new film for the Antietam Battlefields new visitors center
This film will show for the next 20
years and be seen by millions of people.
I am looking to fill the following roles and will be in need fit and trim soldiers mainly with a look under 30 years of age
Sorry this is a park requirement.
The bulk of Filming will be during the first week of October
I am looking for photo submissions for the main characters
They are as follows:
Ezra Carman - White Male roughly 62 years old
Young Ezra Carman-white male 28 years old
Teresa Kretzer- white female 20 years old
Minnie Bedinger- white female 12 years old
Clara Barton- white female 42 years old
Christina Watson-black female age mid 20’s
Alexander Gardner- white male 41 years old
Surgeon William Child- white male 28 years old

All photo submissions need to be send this week no later than Wednesday
The photos can be sent to Historicalextras@comcast.net
MUST PUT “ANTIETAM Casting” in the email Header

Those chosen from the photo submissions will be given further instructions for a video submission

Do to time restraints my team and I will be able to reply to chosen applicants

Well it that time of the year when filming starts to pick up and this year I hope will be the best so far.

Hello all my friends and Film family! Here is a project we did a few years back. It is the True story of a all black artillery company that were captured,tortured and ultimately killed during the Battle of the Bulge in WWII.
This was a major undertaking to say the least but one I am most proud. Being asked to Crew a team that provides all the extras, actors, weapons, location, wardrobe, stunts, special effects and vehicles etc... was just the tip of the iceberg. We had to recreate on film one of the coldest winters on record in which the battle was fought and do it in July which as I remember was during a terrible heat wave that year. You can't tell it but I feel sorry for the reenactors who had to wear full winter gear for the scenes in 90 plus degree heat. Directed by Rob Child whom is one of my favorites to work with we ended with a project to be proud of!!!

With all the Crap going on today it made me think of the Founding Fathers and the wonderful time working on "We Fight to Be Free" for Mt Vernon.
It was truly an Honor to be asked to work on this project to make sure the reenactors and Native Americans were correct.
