We are excited to announce that we have two new therapists joining our team, Chelsea Prince (left) and Tanesha Bufford (right)!
Chelsea Prince is an LPC with an MA from the University of Phoenix. Chelsea Prince specializes in helping clients develop coping skills, enhance self-awareness, and navigate life with greater confidence and clarity. Chelsea specializes in helping those struggling with a specific challenge or seeking personal growth. She aims to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where healing can occur.
Chelsea has worked supporting adolescents and their families by helping them navigate anxiety, trauma, and life transitions at Youth Villages from 2021 to the present. Chelseaβs approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based strategies.
She is accepting new patients ages 9 and above for individual or family therapy. Her approach is collaborative and nonjudgmental. She uses Narrative Therapy, CBT, and DBT, among other therapies. She is trained in TF-CBT and Integrated Treatment Models.
Chelsea works under the supervision of Ms. R. Allie Coughlin, LPC-MHSP. She is currently able to accept Cigna and Aetna insurances or offers sliding scale rate of $75. She offers both in-person and virtual appointments during the week on Monday evenings, as well as morning/afternoon availability on Saturdays and Sundays.

Tanesha Woods is an experienced and dedicated masterβs Level Social Worker (MSW) in the state of Tennessee that is passionate about working with children, teens, and adults. Her treatment specialties include the BIPOC population, LGBTQ+ population, and people as they navigate symptoms related to anxiety, depression, generalized stress, life adjustments and transitions.
Tanesha is a graduate from both Middle Tennessee State University with her bachelorβs degree and Union University with her masterβs degree. She has over a decade of experience working in various mental health settings and agencies within the Greater Memphis Area. Along with specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), she has the tools to assist you in your healing journey.
Tanesha works part-time on Tuesday and Thursday evenings as well as Saturday mornings at this time via telehealth only. She accepts Cigna and Aetna insurances or offers a sliding scale fee of $85 per session.
