Review from the son of a recent sweet client:
My mother is an elderly patient with Alzheimer’s. She was seriously hurt in a recent fall and had to be taken to the emergency room for treatment for her pain and injuries. After an overnight stay in the hospital, I wanted to get her back to her memory care facility so she could be reoriented to her surroundings and with her familiar caregivers to ease her agitation.
However, it was evident to me that her injuries required some enhanced one-on-one short-term assistance once she got back to her facility. I asked the memory care director for recommendations for a home care agency that could provide this support.
They gave me the contact information for My Care in My Home (MCMH) and we reached out to them early Friday afternoon while we were still at the hospital. They were very quick to respond and confirmed that they would be able to care for my mother from Friday night until Monday morning on incredibly short notice.
The caregivers were all very experienced in dealing with patients like my mother and did a phenomenal job taking care of her and keeping me informed of her condition and progress. My mother was able to get back in her routine and the staff at MCMH reassured us at every step. The team at MCMH have worked with the elderly patient population for many years and have a great reputation in this industry from people who have worked with them at other facilities.
They will definitely be our first call to use their services again if needed and we will highly recommend them to our friends who have family members in a similar situation.
