Cleaning Coach Fact.
To be honest, many small medical facilities, daycares, private schools, and small doctor offices are not being cleaned properly.
Many places believe their staff can handle the cleaning, but the reality is those employees are trained to be medical professionals, daycare workers, or educators — not trained in proper disinfecting procedures and professional cleaning methods.
Cleaning high-traffic environments requires knowledge of cross-contamination prevention, proper disinfectant dwell time, correct tools, and structured cleaning routines.
I see it often where spaces look clean but are not receiving the level of sanitation they truly need.
That’s why facilities should consider adding professional cleaning into their budgets.
It doesn’t always have to be every night. Some spaces benefit from:
• Once a month deep cleaning
• Weekly service
• A couple times a week
• Or nightly cleaning for high-traffic facilities
Staff can still help with everyday tasks like taking out trash or maintaining bathrooms, but the overall cleaning and disinfecting should be handled by trained professionals.
Proper cleaning protects the people using the space every day.
