I’ve been reading JUNG biographies. I’ve read Memories Dreams and Reflection what JUNG referred to as his so-called autobiography many times. Recently I read JUNG A Biography by Deirdre Bair who is a professional biographer having done a number of other award-winning biographies on famous people, including Samuel Beckett, Simone de Beauvoir and Anaïs Nin. At almost 900 pages with footnotes, bibliographies, and indexes one has to say it was incredibly well researched. But I think my favorite is the biographical memoir titled JUNG his life and work by Barbara Hannah. She calls it a biographical memoir, because she lived so closely to the Jung family and the whole JUNG culture in Zürich for so long. She writes more about her experiences with Jung and the story has a very personal, more intimate quality to it.
