Beautiful share here, It’s so hard to know what it would be like to have a doula journey with you in such an intimate time in you and your partners life. These shares help the vision! During birth it can be distracting and difficult to orchestrate things yourself. A doula can hear your vision and hold your wishes and hopes during birth support. You get to go within and be held by your partner and support.

If you’re visualizing a doula in your birth space, it is helpful to think of one person that you know will show up with a grounded calm energy and has your emotional journey as top priority for your entire birth. One person that will think of your desires at all times and offer tools to assist you to get there.

Doula Nicole tips to try if you can’t lay comfortably in bed because of tightening and you still need to labor at home. I recommend practicing this beforehand so you can find what’s comfortable, this is a 75cm exercise ball and smaller might be more comfortable for you. You can always let air out to make it softer and hold you better. Lots of big pillows to help cushion you

Any time day or night a call is welcomed to hear what you are feeling and help you navigate things with your partner. A doula can arrive before you go to the birth suite or before the midwife would come to help find a good rhythm for you and if you have a partner supporting you in any way.
