Hope Hospice and Health Care, Inc is celebrating National Volunteer Month!

We have wonderful volunteers that we would like to spotlight and thank for their wonderful care and service to our patients and their families. Please allow us to introduce you to Harold “Hal” Adams.

Here is the "why" behind Hal's passion and commitment to volunteering with hospice, in his own words:

"My love and appreciation for Hope Hospice grew out of the tender love and care given to my wife Juanita by every staff member who entered our home. My desire to show appreciation started with boxes of candy, which was quickly consumed and soon forgotten. My “ah ha moment” came when I heard about volunteering. The most precious thing that we have to give is our time. Thus began the best memory making time ever, with every conversation and every hour spent with new friends becoming forever loving and great friends.

So, what began with the worst words you ever want to hear “you need hospice care for your loved one” became one of the best experiences of my life. Thank God for bringing Hope Hospice into our lives."
