Do you buy smoothies drinks? From restaurants? From the fridge section at your local store?

πŸ’²Save some money πŸ’² grab your blender!!
Skip the fruit juices, added sugar or added ice cream!!

Add wholesome ingredients! Smoothies don't need juice 🀯

Add your favorite yogurt, milk substitute or fresh fruit to your frozen fruit and you get a perfect consistency everytime!
You'll save money and get the exact ratio you want 😊🀀

Also, have you heard of H**p Hearts??? My store has them near the flour. They're a great little seed, I add it on top my toast, in my smoothies, and sprinkle on my salads! Great for anti-inflammatory(great omega 3-6) and increase your protein among other great nutrients!
They taste similar to sunflower seeds to me! But not a strong flavor 😊

Enjoy your food and your company.

"More information about the French reveals that the US currently has twice the incidence of overweight people compared to France, for both adults and children. The French have a longer life expectancy, take less medication, and have a markedly lower rate of heart disease. Yet the French eat a diet that appears to be less healthy...notably, France has the highest per capita dairy fat consumption of any industrial nation....... We believe it could be the relationship that the French have with food. The French have a more positive attitude toward eating -- it is viewed as one of life's pleasures not as poison." -Intuitive Eating by Evelyn Tribole MS, RD &Elyse Resch MS, RD, FADA, CEDRD

Today I took time to make bread.
Watched the dough form from multiple ingredients, knead it with my hands, the patience and planning of letting it rise, forming it into a delicate ball and more patience to let it bake. Then shared it with my family.

Always enjoy your food, and your company.

Why only eat for Thanksgiving? Eating it all year round is a great way to enjoy your veggies and add nutrition to your day

Fresh vs canned-doesnt matter here! Canned still has good nutrition πŸ‘
Fiber πŸ‘ help keep your belly happy and balanced
Vitamin A πŸ‘ good skin and eye health
Iron πŸ‘ energy, focus, support immune system
Flavor πŸ‘ πŸ˜‚ because it's delicious!!

Made pumpkin pancakes, add some pumpkin pie spices to flavor, extra cinnamon 🀀😊

Use the left over in my oats or yogurt 😊

Butternut Squash Curry- best part is you add as much or as little of any of the ingredients, you can't mess it up too bad! πŸ˜† Make from fresh, frozen, or dried ingredients! Make it as seasoned or as thick as you want, cook the squash as tender as you like it!

How I've come to make my curry..

Ingredients: Butternut Squash(I recommend fresh not frozen), powdered or fresh Garlic and Onion, Frozen or fresh peas and Spinach, drained/rinsed can of chickpeas, a can of Coconut milk(then fill can with water and add), Curry powder(or paste) and a dash of cumin

Saute onion in fat of choice, cook down spinach, add cubed squash(smaller the faster it cooks, remove skin), add chickpeas and cumin/curry, pour in coconut milk and water to cover squash, (you can add rice straight in or cook on the side to serve with) bring to boil and low boil until squash tender and water mostly gone

Can you add a little more fruit to your day?

Replace that jelly with mashed fruit: we used raspberries, but you can use banana, blueberries, or blackberries
Add an extra side of whole fruit, and some nut butter for some easy morning protein
