Day 5 of My No Processed Foods Challenge 🌿 — Healing Herbs, Spices & Whole-Food Satiety
Tonight’s dish: Moroccan-spiced shrimp with tomatoes, onions, red pepper, mushrooms, olives, yogurt, and roasted sweet potatoes.

This meal is loaded with flavor — but even more importantly, it’s filled with healing herbs, spices, and nutrient-dense whole foods that support digestion, metabolism, reduced inflammation, and overall vitality.

Here’s what the herbs + spices bring to the table:

🌿 Cumin
Supports digestion, reduces bloating, and helps the body break down food efficiently — which naturally improves satiety and how satisfied you feel after meals.

🌿 Coriander
Calming for the digestive system and supportive of detoxification pathways. Its phytonutrients help reduce inflammation and encourage healthy hormone signaling.

🌿 Cinnamon
One of the best spices for maintaining stable blood sugar — and stable blood sugar means fewer cravings and more balanced hunger signals throughout the day.

🌿 Turmeric
Anti-inflammatory and supportive for the brain, joints, and gut. A healthier gut environment helps regulate hunger hormones more effectively.

🌿 Garlic
Immune-boosting and great for heart + gut health. A well-supported gut helps signal fullness more clearly to the brain.

🌶 Smoked Paprika
Rich in antioxidants that support metabolic health and overall cellular protection.

Ever get “snack cravings” that aren’t really hunger? 👀💧

Try this: next time you feel a craving coming on, drink a glass of water and wait five minutes.
More often than not, your body’s actually asking for hydration — not food!

Today is Day 3 of my No Processed Foods Challenge, and we’re focusing on hydration.
It’s such a simple shift, but it makes a huge difference in how your body feels and functions.

And here’s a key tip — hydration isn’t just about drinking water. You also need minerals to help that water actually get into your cells. A pinch of sea salt or a clean electrolyte mix can make all the difference. 🌿

Fuel your body from the inside out — one mindful sip at a time. 💚

Day 2 of My No Processed Foods Challenge 🌿 — Mindful vs. Mindless Eating

Today’s focus is all about tuning in — becoming more aware of the moments when we reach for food out of habit rather than hunger. Throughout the day, I’m paying attention to when cravings hit, what emotions are tied to them, and what environment I’m in.

For example, I’ve noticed that when I’m working late or feeling overwhelmed, that’s when the urge to snack sneaks in — even if I’m not truly hungry. Recognizing this pattern helps me pause and choose something more intentional (like a walk, water, or deep breaths) instead of mindless munching.

This week, I’m journaling those moments to build more awareness — because lasting change starts with noticing our patterns.

👉 Challenge for you: When do cravings tend to hit for you? What might they be telling you? Let’s get curious together — awareness is where transformation begins. 💚

It all starts with preparation! 🌿

Today kicks off my 7-Day No Processed Foods Challenge — alongside other practitioners, wellness educators, and holistic-minded individuals who are all focused on real, nourishing food.

With my schedule changing every week, meal prep keeps me grounded and energized. This week’s lineup: hearty chili made with my own canned tomatoes, turkey sausage patties, chicken curry meatballs, fresh salads, shrimp, and slow-cooked black beans.

No shortcuts. No processed foods. Just real ingredients that support energy, health, and vitality. đź’š
Follow along — I’ll be sharing my journey each day this week!

Stress isn’t just mental — it’s physical.

When we live in constant fight-or-flight mode, the immune and digestive systems slow down so our body can focus on “survival.”

This fall, choose calm.
Breathe. Move. Restore.

Fall is here, and so are new routines, cooler weather, and, sometimes, more stress. Did you know that when your body stays in “fight or flight” mode for too long, your immune system actually slows down?

Now is the perfect time to strengthen your body before the winter months. Simple habits, such as breathwork, gentle movement, and gratitude, can help your body shift back into “rest and recover” mode.

At Corning Wellness, we go even deeper with tools like HRV scans and Kloud PEMF sessions to measure and support your stress resilience.

At Corning Wellness, we believe that true wellness starts with balance — not just in the office or at the gym, but in life. For me, that means taking time to get outside, slow down, and enjoy a peaceful fishing trip.

When you do the things that “fill your cup,” you return with more energy, clarity, and joy — ready to show up fully for yourself and others.

So tell me… What fills your cup?
