Last week my role with the World Evangelical Alliance (Permanent Representative to the World Health Organization) was reactivated so that I can assist with the WEA commitment to the World Health WASH initiative. This initiativce is a joint effort by WHO and UNICEF to improve access to clean water, hygiene and sanitation in health facilities in poor countries.

Poor hygiene, lack of access to clean water, and poor sanitation are a major cause of hospital acquired infections in Africa. It not only increases mortality, it also compromises a hospitals ability to respond to disease outbreaks.

WEA has committed to engaging National Alliances and faith-based NGO partners in implementing the WHO WASH toolkit. Over the next several months we will be creating a pilot initiative focusing on poor countries not currently implementing WASH or not making progress.

We will also be searching for foundation support and donors to help with this initiative. We welcome suggestions for potential supporters.

Welcome to the WHO and UNICEF WASH in health care facilities knowledge portal, the global site for information and resources related to the topic.

With the US government's decrease in funding for Ukraine, more Ukrainian children and families will be negatively impacted. Please consider helping these needy children who need food, clothes, and medicine. Together, we can make a positive difference in their lives.
All donations go to the children; no money goes to our organization.
Click on the button below to help these children with your donation.
Kindness in Action is a program of the non-profit Humanitarian Advocacy.

It is cold and snowy in Ukraine, but many Ukrainian children don't have warm coats, boots, etc.
Can you help? Your donation to Kindness in Action (a program of the non-profit Humanitarian Advocacy) will provide winter essentials for children caught in the war zone.
These children need our help!

Below is a message from our non-profit, Humanitarian Advocacy, which Kindness in Action is part of. We have received donations, though they are not shown below for privacy.

There is still a great need to help a child in Ukraine have a winter coat (or other needed items) during the snowy, cold winter months.
Please consider donating to Kindness in Action. This is a program that is part of the non-profit Humanitarian Advocacy organization. Right now, our focus is helping children caught in the war zone in Ukraine. These children are so thankful for how we are helping them, and warmer this winter.
The donation link appears below.

Hi, this is Andrea Brim. I'd like to tell you about Kindness in Action, a non-profit program I run with volunteers in Ukraine and the States. Our focus is on helping traumatized children in Ukraine. During this festive season, I hope you will join us by donating to help these children who desperately need coats, boots, food, and other items. All monies go directly to helping these children.

I did an interview last week with our friend Alla Vuskta, who was visiting from Uzhhorod, Ukraine, with her son, Ruvym, who was interpreting. The topic was what she sees as some of the needs of Ukrainian children who have had to flee the eastern part of Ukraine. The link to the video is below.

Would you like to help a Ukrainian child or family in desperate need? Many children and families are suffering and without resources and could use our help. Please consider how your donation can make a difference in a child's life. We serve one child or family at a time, learning and supporting their individual needs.

Many people consider end of the year donations. You want your money to go to a good cause, but it's not always easy to know which organizations are actually making a difference in people's lives.
Kindness in Action (working under Humanitarian Advocacy) helps individual Ukrainian children by providing funds for food, clothing, and a variety of other life essentials. At times that includes a teddy bear to hug when life seems too hard.
Our local partners in Ukraine identify who is in need and help ensure the money goes where it is needed. We provide examples through stories and photos posted on a private Facebook group. There are no administrative fees, the organization operates strictly out of a sense of love to help those in need. Please contact us if you have any questions, or simply use the link below to donate. The donate button is on the right hand side of this page. Thank you.

An example below will tell a story of what was needed by a family. The needs vary greatly, as you will see in this story, but all bring happiness and thankfulness that they are not forgotten and are important to others.
