Our ultrasound studio provides non-diagnostic keepsake experiences using advanced imaging, 2D, 3D, 4D/5D & HD Live, allowing families to create lasting memories. Birth is a healthy, normal life experience that has an everlasting profound impact on the life of the mother and her family. From this foundation of respect, we celebrate the mother, empower the parents and develop a relationship of trust that carries through the pregnancy and birth and continues to grow with their well woman care for years to come. Our Birth Center and Home birth Midwives serve families in Boise, Meridian, Treasure Valley, and families from all across the world. We are privileged and proud to offer highly experienced Midwives for your safety, who also treasure the Midwifery model of care. We are now accepting nearly all forms of Health Insurance. We welcome you to a complimentary consultation or Group Tour & Consultation with a Midwife at our birth center.

We believe a healthy family results from compassionate, professional, evidence based care that respects a woman’s right to accurate information, which allows her to make informed decisions regarding her own health and that of her child. At New Beginnings, we provide a safe place where healthy women are empowered with confidence in their physical and emotional ability to birth free of routine interventions and unnecessary interference. We believe that every woman, regardless of age, color, socio-economic status, faith, or sexual orientation, deserves health care that is safe and compassionate.

Meet your birth team!!

At New Beginnings, our midwifery team is united many core beliefs, but a big one being this: every woman deserves personal, compassionate care throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Wallene brings decades of experience and a calm, steady presence—often found knitting a hat for the baby she’s waiting to welcome. Rachel has attended over 550 births and carries global midwifery experience from her work with Mercy in Action, along with a passion for teaching future midwives. Hannah’s heart is for individualized, relationship-centered care shaped by her work in Uganda and across the Treasure Valley. Suzie brings both local roots and international experience, walking beside families through every kind of birth journey. Together, they create a nurturing, skilled team dedicated to honoring each woman’s unique path into motherhood.

FAQ time!

New Beginnings is blessed to have many repeat clients that call us as soon as the pregnancy test turns up positive! Our schedule books up quickly and often several months in advance. However, it is important for us to leave room in our schedule for new clients, but starting your care with us sooner rather than later is always recommended.
