HCBS are Medicaid services that help people with disabilities live at home and in their communities—not in institutions. These services are at risk. You can contact your legislators and Governor Little and tell them to protect HCBS.

Call the Governor’s Office: (208) 334-2100 to express your concerns directly.

Major Medicaid cuts are being proposed that could affect your services. OT, PT, and speech therapies have already been limited to 20 per discipline per year (additional therapies can be requested but need to have prior authorization and approval by Medicaid). However, completely removing OT, PT, and speech therapy is a proposed Medicaid cut, as well as Home and Community-Based Services, including DD waivers. We are encouraging our members to reach out to their legislators and let them know how important Medicaid services are to our community. Please share and let your voice be heard!
